Meet Shantel:
If you read below, you'll see that Candice has moved on to the great state of California. I have never had the guts to do such a thing! I have lived in the St. Croix river Valley my whole life. I grew up on the Minnesota border and then got married and now live in Wisconsin/ I have a few hobbies: creating a bunch of things, reading and playing with my kids. Now when I say creating things, I mean that I have a bit of ADD when it comes to crafts. I enjoy......Sewing, baking, crocheting, scrap booking, just created my first wood working projects thanks to the inspiration found on Pinterest. (Thanks a lot Pinterest!!) Of course, I'm currently in love with knitting. I love that what I create with nothing more than needles, yarn and time, looks like your purchased it from a store. I started knitting late in 2011 and have made hot pads, leg warmers, socks and my two favorites: a pair of Fair Isle mittens and a newsboy hat. I wear them all the time! My theory, which you find I have a lot of, is that, if you're going to spend hours and hours making something, you had better use it! Enjoy!
Meet Candice:
Hiya! I currently live in Orange County, California and I L-O-V-E it. It may seem like I'm a California girl, but really, I was born and raised in east-central Minnesota where all we did was hunt, fish and camp! Oh, and shovel snow in the winter. I am a kitchen and bath designer by trade and have an obsession with color! Some of my favorite things to do are baking, fishing, 4-wheeling, watching movies, reading and of course, our alma-matter, knitting. I began knitting about 3 months ago with YouTube as my teacher. So far, I've completed several projects, including slippers, super cute leg warmers, and ridiculously useful dishtowels.
